Eliminate Weak Terms

When writing an argument paper, you need to assert your views clearly and logically.  However, it is also necessary to make the argument imperative by using words such as must and require.

Using flimsy, weak terms will leave room for the reader to consider your content as suggestions, not requirements.  See the sample scenario and definition above for a refresher on the word 'must'.  Be sure to revise your paper for weak terms that will sabotage the strength of the argument.
